Evidence-based wet and dry cupping treatments rooted in Islamic tradition, provided by certified practitioners Mahbuba (for women) and Mahfooz (for men)
Welcome to Moon & Honey, a dedicated Hijama clinic in Scarborough, Toronto, offering traditional wet cupping (hijama) and dry cupping therapy. We provide personalized treatments in a clean, comfortable, and respectful clinical environment. Whether you're exploring cupping for the first time or continuing your wellness journey, we're here to serve you with knowledge, care, and intention.

Moon & Honey was founded by Mahbuba and Mahfooz, both certified Hijama practitioners serving the Toronto Muslim community and wellness seekers from all backgrounds. Our clinic offers gender-specific care: Mahbuba provides treatments for women, while Mahfooz provides treatments for men.
Mahbuba's journey into cupping therapy began with her own personal health challenges and a deep desire to reconnect with the healing practices mentioned in our prophetic tradition. Alongside Mahfooz, she pursued professional training and certification to offer this service to others with the same care and respect she wished she had received.
At Moon & Honey, we approach every client with compassion, informed consent, and attention to detail. We believe that healing is holistic—physical, spiritual, and emotional. While hijama is not a cure or medical treatment, many people report feeling relief, relaxation, and a renewed sense of well-being after their sessions. Our clinic follows strict hygiene protocols, uses single-use sterile equipment, and ensures that each client feels heard, safe, and respected.
Mahbuba takes time to understand your individual needs, explain the process clearly, and provide thorough aftercare instructions. Whether you're seeking cupping for relaxation, general wellness, or as part of your personal health routine, Moon & Honey is committed to delivering a professional and supportive experience in the heart of Toronto.

Wet cupping, known as hijama in Arabic, is a traditional therapeutic practice that involves creating suction on specific points of the body, followed by small, superficial incisions to draw out a small amount of blood. This practice is mentioned in Islamic tradition and is believed by many to promote relaxation, detoxification, and circulation. At Moon & Honey, wet cupping sessions are performed with strict hygiene standards using sterile, single-use equipment.
Please note: Hijama is not a medical treatment and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Some individuals report feeling relaxed and experiencing temporary relief, but results vary. Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.

Dry cupping involves placing cups on the skin to create suction without incisions. This method is often used for muscle tension, relaxation, and general wellness. Many people in Toronto choose dry cupping as part of their self-care routine or to complement other wellness practices. Dry cupping may leave temporary circular marks that typically fade within a few days.
Please note: Dry cupping is a wellness practice and is not a medical treatment. Results vary from person to person. If you have any medical conditions, please consult your healthcare provider before booking.
